For Loopword, the offline word-ring puzzle for Android
Loopword collects no personal data. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and nothing to buy; the game requests no Android permissions and never opens a network connection. Everything below explains what that means in practice.
Loopword is made and published by AP Consult, d.o.o., a company registered in Slovenia, which releases its apps under the name EmberVale Digital. Under the General Data Protection Regulation that company would be the controller of any personal data the app processed — and it processes none, so the role stays empty in practice.

So that a half-solved ring is exactly where you left it, Loopword writes a small file into its own private storage on your phone. It holds puzzle state only:
None of this identifies you. No name, email address, phone number, contact list, photo, location, advertising identifier or device identifier is involved at any point. The file never leaves the phone, and we never see it.
Checking whether a word counts is done entirely on the device, against a word list compiled into the app in both languages. Nothing you trace is sent anywhere to be looked up, and no online dictionary, translation service or spell-check API is involved. Words you swipe out and abandon are simply forgotten as you lift your finger.
No advertising library, so no advert appears between levels, none is needed to earn a hint or a shuffle, and no advertising profile is built from how you play. No analytics library and no crash reporter, so no usage events, session logs or crash traces are gathered or transmitted — we do not know which level you are stuck on or how many bonus words you have collected. No billing library, so nothing can be bought and no payment data exists. No account system and no leaderboard, so nothing you do is visible to anyone else.
Loopword also requests no Android runtime permissions at all: not camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage or notifications.
None. Every level and both word lists are compiled into the download, so the game opens no connection to our servers or to anyone else's and behaves identically in aeroplane mode. Because nothing is sent, nothing can be intercepted; because nothing is received, no behaviour can be switched on remotely after you install it.
Google, because Loopword is distributed through Google Play. When you install or update the game, Google processes that under its own privacy policy and its own agreement with you. What reaches us is the aggregated, anonymous figures shown in the developer console — install counts, ratings, country totals — which cannot be traced back to an individual player.
If a future version of Loopword ever includes anything that touches the network, this page will be rewritten before that version is published, and the change will be described plainly rather than added quietly.
Loopword is a word puzzle suitable for all ages, and the word lists are written to stay that way in both languages. Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children either, and there is nothing in it — no adverts, no chat, no sharing, no outbound links, nothing to buy — through which a child could send information anywhere or spend money.
If you are a parent, guardian or teacher and something appears to behave differently from what is described here, please write to us and we will look into it straight away.
The General Data Protection Regulation and Slovenia's Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2) give you the right to ask whether your personal data is being processed, to obtain a copy, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. All of that presupposes data, and we hold none of yours, so there is nothing here for us to disclose, correct or delete. Ask and we will confirm that in writing for your records.
What exists is the save file on your phone, and it is entirely under your control: reset progress inside the app, clear the app's data in Android settings, or uninstall Loopword and the file goes with it. No copy survives elsewhere, because no copy was ever made.
Complaints may be addressed to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, ip-rs.si) or to the supervisory authority where you live — though writing to us first usually settles it faster.
This page is updated only when the game changes in a way that affects privacy, and the date near the top changes with it. Builds you have already installed keep behaving exactly as they do today.
